The room was terrific with a good view. The location was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the golf course. Excellent value for level of facility.
Your facility was very nice and very clean. The location was convenient to enjoy the many attractions along the coast.
Your staff was incredible. Your patrons were rude and unfriendly.
Location, resort grounds. Beth and Todd (musicians) playing in the bar on Friday night -excellent.
The room was overpriced and seemed dated. There were cookie crumbs all over the sofa and cherry pits or nuts of some sort on the carpet. We played a round of golf on Friday afternoon, July 1st. We finished up our round at 6:00 pm and decided to play the 10th hole again before we turned in our cart (there was no one playing behind us). The golf police were immediately in our faces asking us if we had a "golf package". We didn't have a "golf package" but paid a high price for a round. There was no beverage service on the course. Food in the main restaurant was overpriced.
It is beautiful setting at the beach
Our room's heater made a clunking noise all night.
I did not like the added fees added to my room charges that was not explained prior to booking. I did not receive the room I booked. I booked a double queen suite and was put in a room with two full beds instead of two queens and charged the same fee. While there was fire place in the room I was under the impression the tubs were jetted for relazation in your room. I did not like the $11.00 resort fee I was charged nor the $20 processing fee I was charged to pay with a debit card. In light of the additional charges and not getting the correct room I will not stay here again or tell anyone that it is a good place to say to be honest I felt that they misrepresented what is available and for what price.
Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, good outside air
Carpet was either very dirty or cleaned with harsh chemicals-difficult to sleep from carpet smell. Very noisy-heard everything the young couple upstairs did. All chairs were sprung-haven't been reupholstered in many years. Horrible music played over outdoor and lobby speakers wherever we were-could not escape it.
I was quite dissapointed with the room overall. The tv was an old 27" tube tv that was quite far from the bed for viewing. Yuo could not lie in bed and see the fireplace either. The couch was worn, and there were stains on the carpet. The room was noisey- as I heard everyone running up and down the stairs all times of the night. When I mentioned to the staff upon checking out, they commented that"this is a hotel". We did cancel our 2nd night and went to another hotel for the rest of our trip. Personally, I was not that impressed.
the Spa experience and the live music, so fun and so relaxing
difficult to navigate in the dark, to find rooms
The views were incredible in our bedroom.
Unfortunately our back door could not open fully. It would have been nice to do so to bring fresh air in the room. Also, there was no switch to completely turn off fireplace. There was a convention there and we could hear the people upstairs partying after 10:00 p.m.
1. Room was clean and nice size for a couple. 2. The Attic Lounge actually ended up being the best part of Saturday night; except the sports/tv room is open and the Duck game was so loud that it was hard to hear the band. We asked the servers to turn it down a little, and she said she didn't want to deal with it.
1. Had to walk to restaurant and across the street to shops... Maybe the hotel could have a golf cart, small van for shuttle service. 2. Hotel put a family with loud, running around kids above us.... A couple doesn't want a family directly above them, running around, crying, yelling up late at night and early next morning. 3. The restaurant couldn't find our reservations even though my husband called 2 times down to ask questions regarding the 2 restaurants. The (Sun Room) was so noisy during our dinner with kids running around....but we had already gotten part of our food. 4. I was willing to pay more for a 4 star resort by the ocean....don't think it is by the ocean? You certainly couldn't walk there...it was far enough just across the main Hwy 101 to get to the stores/shops of Salishan.
Thought it was run down and the price for what i got was not ver good at all
First assigned a room with stained carpet, cob webs & a mold / musty smell throughout. Then given a second room that had light bulbs missing from the lamps, our patio was covered in bat feces, a barking dog next door (there is no assisgned building for pets only), screaming kids in room below. Not a very quiet nor romantic experience as they advertise to offer. Also, at check out, I was never asked how my stay was, never once. I wanted to unload but there was line to check out behind me as there was only one front desk person present.
The resort was much more than expected. After reading some negative comments, we were anxious when arriving, but immediately allayed, as we entered the resort. It is beautiful! Covered parking spaces, clean, luxurious rooms. Employees were sooo nice. So much to do!! Wanted to do everything, walked all the trails, played mini golf, went to beach(walked), didn't have lots of money to spend but we had best time ever!!
Would say the10 hour drive, but the drive was so pretty, can't complain.
quiet, elegant, fun. A lovely sense of seclusion among the pines, romantic and relaxing.
rowdy children, lack of food choices after 10:00pm, expensive food options.
Tennis, golf, pool, spa and luxury at the coast. Beautiful location and setting.
